The Barnard Loop – a nebula in the constellation of Orion about which nothing is known exactly – delicately illustrates the fear of being nobody and that nothing is known with certainty, the feeling of being a small point in the immensity of the universe.
The scenes in the show illustrate this fear through the journey of a young man during a sleepless night. An intimate portrait of Barnard’s fears and obsessions, a character who is perpetually indecisive and clumsy, but who never misses an opportunity to reveal his fragility. The show is a tribute to the mysterious, the unpredictable, the unsettling and the surreal.
A dreamlike journey through psychic and mental states where repetitions, loops, ubiquity, and memories lead us into an endless illusion.
