DispensaBarzotti is based in Marseille since 2019 and creates a physical, magical and highly visual form of theater through physical theater, object manipulation, and “magie nouvelle.”
The company’s work focuses on the body, movement, imagination, and illusion, exploring how theater can transform our perception of reality.
Through a deeply visual approach, the company plays with the audience’s perception and their expectations, creating spaces where reality gives place to the unexpected, the surprise, and the marvelous.

Addressing all types of audiences, DispensaBarzotti’s work combines wonder, humor, and emotion within forms where the spectacular meets the intimate and the human.
The company’s productions have received several awards, including a Special Mention at the Scenario Award (IT), Best Show at the Sfumato Festival (BG), and the Prix SACD – Processus Cirque (FR).

Since its creation, Alessandra Ventrella and Rocco Manfredi have shared artistic direction and creative conception. The company develops its artistic practice through performances, residencies, artistic collaborations, creative projects, and training programs.

The company receives operational support from the City of Marseille.
